Travel as Glorified Field Trips for Your Kids

Country hopping before kids was different because we didn’t have to think about entertaining little people. Now that we’re a family of four, travel has become glorified field trips for our kids.

We avoid destinations that offer little entertainment and educational value for the children. The great news is, if you look, even places that you wouldn’t really expect to be kid friendly have some of the more fascinating experiences for school aged kids.

Last month we found the Crayola Experience in Minnesota’s Mall of America. Must see!

We’re looking at a visit to St. George’s children’s museum and wildlife museum soon.
